2012 Water & Sewer Utility Billing
February 9, 2012

The 2012 water and sewer utility bills HAVE NOT been issued. Uitlity bills will be generated and mailed by March 5.

When utility bills are mailed, users will have the opportunity to take advantage of a 10% discount for early payment. Please check your bill for the early discount dates when it arrives in the mail. Utiltiy bills are due by December 31.
 
COUNCIL ADOPTS SIGNAGE STRATEGY

At the Regular Meeting of Council held on February 6th, 2012, Council adopted the Signage Strategy and Manual for the Town of Princeton.

Thompson Rivers University was contracted by the Town of Princeton to complete a sign audit and provide recommendations on how to improve the signage.

2012 COUNCIL APPOINTMENTS - POLICY NO. 001-2012
At the Regular Meeting of Council held on Monday, February 6th, 2012, Council passed the Council Appointments to Boards & Committees Policy No. 001-2012.  An objective of the policy is to promote consolidation and coordination across like organizations.

Snow Removal Regulations

It’s that time again and we would like to remind residents of winter snow removal regulations.

The Town has a snow removal schedule that is based on a road priority system. Sanding/salting and plowing begins on emergency and bus routes, intersections, hills, main arterial roads, followed by collector roads, and then moves onto residential streets and lanes as necessary. Please assist our crew when they are plowing  by not parking on streets during snow removal.

Town Makes Funding Application for ZigZag Trail

The Town of Princeton has made application to the provincial government's Community Recreation Program Fund to assist funding the restoration and enhancement of the "Zig Zag" trail.
