Get Away For A Weekend
Princeton is only hours from the urban centres of British Columbia... yet it seems another world. Time slows down in the Princeton area. The pace is leisurely. The air is clean, the landscape and rivers beckon one to take pleasure in the outdoors.
We invite you to take a trip to our land of adventure and leisure. We are a perfect place for your weekend or week-long get-a-way. When you see all there is to do, and the hospitality that goes with it, you will want to visit regularly.
Princeton is situated at the forks of the Similkameen and Tulameen Rivers at an elevation of 650 metres (2100 feet). Lying in the rain-shadow on the eastern slopes of the Cascade mountains, the climate is fairly dry.
The Kettle Valley Rail Trail and China Ridge Trails
The town and area are steeped in history. There are over 50 lakes in a 50 kilometre radius. Two rivers offer fishing and water fun. The Kettle Valley Rail Trail and China Ridge Trails offer scenic cycling and skiing... far, far away.
Wine Country and the Fruit Stands of the Similkameen
Princeton is your gateway to Similkameen Wine Country and the fruitstands of the Similkameen Valley.
The town has 10 motels and many diverse restaurants to make your stay not only memorable, but comfortable.
